I never really fit the mold growing up, and I always wanted more out of life than what was handed to me. But I've learned this: the need to survive and the drive to thrive is something that connects all of us.
Today, I work a 9-to-5 that doesn't put its people first, one that takes plenty and leaves little energy for the things I actually love.
I'm Leon. I live in Alberta, Canada, together with my brother Elijah. Some of my favorite days are the ones spent exploring British Columbia and Saskatchewan. There's something about being outdoors that resets everything for me.
When I first heard about this opportunity, everything changed. All of a sudden I had the means to start building something for myself, alongside the job I've still got.
I won't pretend I've got it all figured out yet, but I'm optimistic about where this is headed. And I'm building toward the freedom to explore the world and be part of a real community.
